Denounce, and or Reject

Thu Feb 28, 2008 at 09:44:59 AM PDT

A very short diary, and not my usual style, but I couldn't resist

I was minded to see where the lines lay between Barack "denouncing", and Hilliary insisting he Reject as being firmer and more definite.

From thefreedictionary.com:

de·nounce  (d-nouns)
tr.v. de·nounced, de·nounc·ing, de·nounc·es

  1. To condemn openly as being evil or reprehensible. See Synonyms at criticize.
  1. To accuse formally.
  1. To give formal announcement of the ending of (a treaty).

and

re·ject (r-jkt)
tr.v. re·ject·ed, re·ject·ing, re·jects

  1. To refuse to accept, submit to, believe, or make use of.
  1. To refuse to consider or grant; deny.
  1. To refuse to recognize or give affection to (a person).
  1. To discard as defective or useless; throw away. See Synonyms at refuse1.
  1. To spit out or vomit.
  1. Medicine To resist immunologically the introduction of (a transplanted organ or tissue); fail to accept as part of one's own body.

I loved Barack's response, and think he completely outwitted her, but what do you think?
